But if you want to learn modern and contemporary acoustic pieces, you should start your search across the Internet. There are simple guitar tabs found online. When searching for such tabs, look for melodies that are familiar to you, if not a favorite.  

It could be best if you know by heart the song you are aiming to learn. Experts say beginners should stick to personal favorites so learning pieces could be easier and more motivational. Listening to the music while at the same time practicing to play it on acoustic guitar could very well help you find the rhythm and necessary details. This could be aside from the fact that learning personal favorite pieces could make learning more fun. Thus, you could easily work to impress and awe your colleagues and friends during parties.  

Practice makes perfect. Learning how to play acoustic guitar well does not end in learning to play the piece. Read the acoustic guitar tabs and remember them by heart. This way, you could never go astray for sure. It may take some time before you fully and confidently get comfortable at playing and reading tabs of acoustic guitars.
